Mr. Freedman has made it to the future!

Our own Nathan Wilderson heard that Mr. Freedman was a big fan of the Back to the Future movies. In fact, Mr. Freedman was celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime event associated with one of the movies last week. Nathan decided to ask him some questions about it.

 

Q: So mister freedman I hears Mrs. Maul talk about Back to the Future Day on the announcements. What is it?

 

A: Basically, in the second Back to the Future movie, Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown go to the date October 21, 2015 at 4:29 p.m pacific time. Today celebrates the day they went to in the future because now it is the present.

Getting a good breakfast is easier than ever

Shahzaib noticed something different was going on with breakfasts here at FMS this year, so he st down to talk to our cafeteria manager, Donna Sheddy, about it.

 

Q:  I heard breakfast at school was different this year. Can you tell me about it?

 

A: This year we’re trying a new breakfast. It’s called grab and go. Instead of eating at the tables in the cafeteria, you’re going to be able to grab your breakfast in the morning right when you get off the bus, or when you get into school, and take it to your first period class and eat it real quick then before your day starts.

Blood drive was a great success

Juaquin saw that a blood drive was going on here at FMS, so he talked to our great nurse, Virmarie Marrero Rodri

guez, all about it.

 

Q: Why is it important to donate blood?

 

A: It’s important because we have a shortage of blood in the united states, and each patient can need up to fifteen donations just for a simple accident.
